🎙 The Importance of Taking Control of Your Recall Business 💬

Fixed Ops Marketing - Own Your Recall Business

In November 2019 it was announced that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will recall nearly 700,000 cars for faulty electrical connections. The issue could prevent engine starts or contribute to a stall. It affects around 528,500 vehicles in the United States, 34,700 in Canada, 18,100 in Mexico and 116,500 outside North America, according to the report.

The recall, covering 2011 through 2013 model year Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs will address deposits on the contact points of fuel pump relays that may interrupt electrical current.

Coincidentally, the automaker had previously recalled most of the same SUVs in 2014 and 2015 for issues with their fuel pump relays.

With our Fixed Ops Strategies Discussion Panel right around the corner, we thought it prudent to take the opportunity to talk about how recalls like this, and recalls in general, can impact franchise auto retailers, and the importance of taking control of your recall business.

On the panel are:

  • Jarrod Kilway – Director of Digital Strategy and Solutions at Germain Automotive Partnerships
  • Ed Roberts – Fixed Ops Director at Bozard Ford Lincoln
  • Greg Noonan – Customer Retention and Loyalty and Fixed Operations Consultant
  • Owen Moon – Co-Founder & CEO at FIXED OPS DIGITAL
  • James Windrow – VP of Marketing at RevolutionParts
